Yes there are men in black with wraparound sunglasses at midnight wearing highly polished shoes. Why do cinematographers like shots of feet anyway. Is this a Masonic fetish? An alien signal? Or just stupidity? The last seems the best choice, given the blind imitation of so many filmmakers. Monkey see, monkey do, sums them up. Seeing feet in another movie, the imitation starts and continues.
One of those men in black came back, too, twenty-five years later (and just about steals the show), but with neither the shades nor the shoes.
